Leeteuk: Which member’s parents were against them being a celebrity the most? Ah, Hoya. You did well in your studies, right?
Hoya: I did okay during middle school, but I wasn’t good at it.
Eunhyuk: What did your parents say?
Hoya: I abruptly told my parents that I was going to be a celebrity and drop out from high school. I managed to convince my mother, but my father was really against it. He told me to get out of the house.
Leeteuk: So what did you do?
Hoya: I left.
[Jokes around about how he listens “well” to his father]
Leeteuk: So, how did you manage to convince him?
Hoya: After leaving the house, I guess he felt empty. I managed to convince him eventually and went about on my own back and forth from home and Seoul.
Leeteuk: I’m pretty sure he’s proud of you.
Hoya: Yes, my family actually owns a restaurant and inside, they hung up pictures.
Leeteuk: Say a message to your mother and father.
Hoya: To my parents, I’ll work hard right now and am headed slowly towards the road of success, so support me lots. I love you.
